Enterprise Core Sales Engineer - West

  • 01Supporting senior-level sellers to grow existing customers or win new customers.
  • 02Contributing to the SE Team as a senior resource.
  • 03Sourcing and delivering product information, conducting testing of alpha products/features, managing projects, and building process improvements and automation to scale the SE Team.
  • 04Carrying a quota and managing time to retire quota while handling senior responsibilities.
  • 05Conducting product demonstrations and facilitating live proof-of-concept trials for prospective customers, ensuring they understand and fully utilize the Samsara platform.
  • 06Working closely with Product Management and other relevant teams to help develop the Samsara platform.
  • 07Demonstrating the value proposition of Samsara’s products and services and the platform's core capabilities on-site, remotely via webinar sessions, or at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
  • 08Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • 09Being organized and analytical, eliminating sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches.
  • 10Demonstrating comfort working for a dynamic technical organization with a fast-growing partner and customer base.
  • 11Remaining highly available to Sales and cross-functional teams, making a measurable impact on Sales and product development in the region, and contributing to SE Team enablement.
  • 12Being a dynamic contributor on both Sales and SE Team internal communications channels.
  • 13Championing, role modeling, and embedding Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as the company scales globally and across new offices.

Требования

  • 01Bachelor's of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university
  • 025+ years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales technical role, customer success, or customer/product support capacity (Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Solutions Engineer, etc.)
  • 03Ability to influence stakeholders based on technical sales acumen and a solid understanding of business processes and change management
  • 04Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • 05Previous experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations
  • 06Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
  • 07Experience with technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation and control systems
  • 08Working knowledge of various integration standards and transports (XML, REST, SOAP, EDI, etc.)
  • 09Experience integrating with RESTful APIs between SaaS applications
  • 10Exposure to various SaaS-based integrations
  • 11Must be located within and authorized to work in the United States

  • 01Remote position open to candidates residing in the West region of the United States (excluding San Francisco Bay Metro, New York City Metro, and Washington DC Metro)
  • 02Requires travel up to 50% of the time
  • 03Proximity to an international airport is preferred
  • 04Must be located within and authorized to work in the United States
  • 05Carry a sales quota
  • 06Requires strong time management skills to balance quota and senior responsibilities
