Director, Commercial Development

Обязанности
- 01Work directly with internal technical teams and external partners to site, design, and deliver power and land to energy-intensive AI compute deployments, including high-density GPU data centers
- 02Define and deploy strategic frameworks for new project development, primarily within the US
- 03Develop and execute fast-paced, highly complex energy and real estate deals from start to finish
- 04Act as the central point to drive deals to completion
- 05Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and market needs
- 06Analyze regulatory and policy developments impacting the energy and AI industries
- 07Recommend proactive adjustments to business strategies based on market intelligence
- 08Develop and implement comprehensive power sourcing strategies to reduce overall LCOE
- 09Conduct market research to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities
- 10Build and maintain strong relationships with renewable developers, brokers, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), and AI workload end users
- 11Lead negotiation and structuring of power purchase agreements
- 12Work closely with real estate team on key agreements needed to build hyperscale data centers
- 13Lead interconnection submittals and approvals for data center load
- 14Support property tax abatement negotiations
- 15Work closely with legal and financial teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial objectives
Требования
- 018+ years of experience in the energy industry, specifically in project development, financing, and/or origination roles
- 02Proven experience in power marketing and PPA origination in the energy sector
- 03Strong understanding of the U.S. energy market and regulatory environment
- 04Deep interest in AI workloads and experience working with AI infrastructure providers, hyperscalers, or compute developers is a strong plus
- 05Excellent negotiation, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
- 06Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
- 07Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
- 08Relevant degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- 09Curious, eager, tenacious, and a quick learner
- 10Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where the industry changes quickly and goals evolve in real-time
- 11Highly organized with strong interpersonal and project management skills to drive complex deals to completion
