Sales Engineer, Mid Market - Northeast

- 01Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles while scaling globally
- 02Become an expert on Samsara products and articulate their value to prospects
- 03Deliver discovery, demonstration, value assessment, and proof‑of‑concept work products
- 04Guide installers on best practices and help build deployment plans
- 05Write scripts against the open API to solve customer problems and document them
- 06Open opportunities for deeper account entrenchment by consulting customers
- 07Act as liaison between product and sales teams, translating technical feedback and enrolling customers in beta programs
Требования
- 01Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university
- 022+ years experience in pre‑sales, customer success, or product support
- 03Ability to influence stakeholders and explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
- 04Experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations
- 05Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
- 06Knowledge of technical consulting, cloud software, cloud‑connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation and control systems
- 07Authorized to work in the United States
- 08Preferred: degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
- 09Preferred: experience with task automation scripting and data transfer using Bash, Python, JavaScript or equivalent
- 10Preferred: experience building solutions with open APIs
- 11Preferred: understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems and controllers

- 01Remote position for candidates residing in the Northeast US (excluding San Francisco Bay, NYC, and Washington DC metros)
- 02Up to 50% travel required; proximity to an international airport preferred
