Sales Engineer, Mid Market - Northeast

  • 01Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles while scaling globally
  • 02Become an expert on Samsara products and articulate their value to prospects
  • 03Deliver discovery, demonstration, value assessment, and proof‑of‑concept work products
  • 04Guide installers on best practices and help build deployment plans
  • 05Write scripts against the open API to solve customer problems and document them
  • 06Open opportunities for deeper account entrenchment by consulting customers
  • 07Act as liaison between product and sales teams, translating technical feedback and enrolling customers in beta programs

Требования

  • 01Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university
  • 022+ years experience in pre‑sales, customer success, or product support
  • 03Ability to influence stakeholders and explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
  • 04Experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations
  • 05Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
  • 06Knowledge of technical consulting, cloud software, cloud‑connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation and control systems
  • 07Authorized to work in the United States
  • 08Preferred: degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 09Preferred: experience with task automation scripting and data transfer using Bash, Python, JavaScript or equivalent
  • 10Preferred: experience building solutions with open APIs
  • 11Preferred: understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems and controllers
