Sales Engineer, Mid-Market - Eastern Canada

  • 01Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles while scaling globally
  • 02Become an expert on Samsara products, including IoT, AI and computer vision solutions
  • 03Articulate to prospects how Samsara solves industry challenges
  • 04Deliver discovery, demonstration, value assessment and proof‑of‑concept work products
  • 05Guide installers through best practices and deployment planning
  • 06Write scripts against the open API to solve customer problems and document them
  • 07Open opportunities for deeper account entrenchment by consulting customers
  • 08Act as liaison between product and sales teams, translating technical feedback and enrolling customers in beta programs

Требования

  • 01Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university
  • 02Professional fluency in French and English (written and verbal)
  • 032+ years experience in pre‑sales, technical consulting, solutions architecture, customer success or product support
  • 04Ability to influence stakeholders and explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
  • 05Experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations
  • 06Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
  • 07Knowledge of technical consulting, cloud software, cloud‑connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation and control systems
  • 08Preferred: degree or advanced education in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 09Preferred: experience with task automation scripting and data transfer using Bash, Python, JavaScript or equivalent
  • 10Preferred: experience building solutions using open APIs
  • 11Preferred: understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems, CAN bus and Power Take‑Off (PTO) applications
  • 12Preferred: hobbyist interest in electronic systems such as car audio
