Senior Solutions Architect - SLED Chicago / Indianapolis

- 01Serve as the technical point of contact for your accounts and account managers in your assigned territory
- 02Build a comprehensive understanding of customers’ goals and objectives, and articulate how our offerings address their needs
- 03Create and own value-based relationships at all levels in customer organizations
- 04Actively participate in all phases of planning and execution for your territory, from initial discovery to the technical win
- 05Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Elastic products and solutions to demonstrate the value of our offerings in sales meetings, and at events such as meetups and conferences
- 06Advise the sales team on effective ways of positioning Elastic products, solutions and services
- 07Onboard, educate and enable our partners, and support them in sales cycles
- 08Craft collateral, contribute to programs and collaborate with other Elasticians to meet individual client needs
- 09Be the voice of the customer and community to communicate needs, gaps, and improvements to our engineering and leadership teams
- 10Deepen both your sales and technical skills through education while taking advantage of all the professional development opportunities provided by Elastic
Требования
- 01Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 023+ years of proven experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
- 03Professional experience in architecting/operating solutions built on one or more cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- 04Experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, software development, and operational management practices
- 056+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- 06Implementation experience with SaaS platforms using web technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs), particularly cloud-based, high-performance solutions
- 07A track record of success in a technical presales role-- enough experience selling and implementing technology to earn your customer’s trust
- 08A demonstrable ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software and technologies
- 09A real passion for being curious and a continuous learner
- 10A history of successful customer relations where you developed an understanding of what made a difference, and devised architectures that helped meet a goal, tackle a problem, or outpace competitors
- 11An ability to influence
- 12Have you more than once convinced a team you worked for, of an idea, technology, or architectural pattern?
- 13The ability to inspire groups, both large and small
- 14A willingness to travel 40% within region, as well as occasionally internationally

- 01Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE)
- 02On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 70/30 pay mix (base salary / target variable)
- 03The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is $153,500 — $242,900 USD
- 04The typical starting salary range for this role is $107,500 — $170,100 USD
- 05The typical starting Target Variable range for this role is $46,000 — $72,800 USD
- 06Elastic offers a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings
