Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) - Public Sector

- 01Work with clients on short to medium term engagements to solve big data challenges using the Databricks platform
- 02Provide data engineering, data science, and cloud technology solutions, integrating with client systems and delivering training
- 03Design and build reference architectures and productionalize customer use cases
- 04Scope professional services work with engagement managers and customers
- 05Guide strategic customers through end‑to‑end design, build and deployment of big data and AI applications
- 06Consult on architecture and design, bootstrap or implement customer projects
- 07Provide escalated support for customer operational issues
- 08Collaborate with Databricks technical team, project managers, architects and customer teams to deliver technical components
- 09Provide product and implementation feedback to Engineering and Customer Support
- 10Document solutions and create white‑boarding materials
Требования
- 01U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government secret clearance; active Secret or higher clearance preferred
- 026+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms and analytics
- 03Experience delivering technical projects, managing scope and timelines
- 04Experience working with clients and handling conflicts
- 05Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 20% of the time

- 01Base salary range $180,656 – $248,360 USD depending on location (Zone 1‑4)
