Обязанности
- 01Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to produce an industry-leading search engine offering
- 02Contribute to Elasticsearch full time, building new search features and fixing bugs
- 03Invent new algorithms or data structures or find and implement existing ones
- 04Work close to the operating system and hardware when needed
- 05Work with a globally distributed team on vector search capabilities
- 06Identify and drive improvements in Elasticsearch search relevance
- 07Work with community members on issues and pull requests
- 08Write idiomatic modern Java code
Требования
- 01Professional experience with search or vector databases
- 02Experience with HNSW, IVF or other relevant algorithms and libraries on search platforms at scale
- 03Solid skills in core Java and conversant in standard library of data structures and concurrency constructs
- 04Ability to work with high level of autonomy and guide projects from beginning to end
- 05Comfortable developing collaboratively and giving/receiving feedback
- 06Experience with multiple data storage technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
- 07Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug complex systems, and optimize code
- 08Ability to collaborate across functions and teams and transition between projects
- 09Work autonomously and drive decisions in distributed team through asynchronous communication
