Обязанности
- 01Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to produce an industry-leading search engine offering
- 02Contribute to Elasticsearch full time, building new search features and fixing bugs
- 03Work with a globally distributed team of experienced engineers focused on the vector search capabilities of Elasticsearch
- 04Be an expert on Elasticsearch search relevance and drive improvements in this area
- 05Work with community members from all over the world on issues and pull requests
- 06Write idiomatic modern Java
Требования
- 01Professional experience with search or vector databases
- 02Experience with HNSW, IVF, or other relevant algorithms and libraries on search platforms at scale
- 03Solid skills in core Java and conversant in standard library of data structures and concurrency constructs
- 04Work with a high level of autonomy and able to take on projects from beginning to end
- 05Comfortable developing collaboratively and giving/receiving feedback on code
- 06Experience with multiple data storage technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
- 07Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug complex systems, and optimize code
- 08Ability to collaborate across functions and teams and transition between different projects
- 09Work autonomously and drive decisions in a distributed team using asynchronous communication

- 01Base salary compensation without variable component
- 02Typical starting salary range: $133,100 - $210,600 USD
- 03Higher range for select locations: $159,900 - $252,900 USD
