Обязанности
- 01Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to produce an industry-leading search engine offering
- 02Contribute to Elasticsearch full time, building new search features and fixing bugs
- 03Invent new algorithms or data structures
- 04Work with a globally distributed team on the vector search capabilities of Elasticsearch
- 05Identify and drive improvements in search relevance
- 06Work with community members on issues and pull requests
- 07Write idiomatic modern Java
Требования
- 01Professional experience with search or vector databases
- 02Experience using HNSW, IVF, or other relevant algorithms and libraries on search platforms at scale
- 03Solid skills in core Java and conversant in the standard library of data structures and concurrency constructs
- 04Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and take on projects from beginning to end
- 05Comfortable developing collaboratively and giving/receiving feedback on code and approaches
- 06Experience using several data storage technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
- 07Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug complex systems, and optimize code
- 08Ability to collaborate across functions and teams and transition between different projects based on business priorities
- 09Work autonomously and drive decisions in a distributed team using asynchronous communication

- 01Compensation is in the form of base salary, typical starting range: €85,600 – €135,500 EUR
