Customer Success Engineer

Обязанности
- 01Act as a consultant on a variety of customers, delivering ad-hoc services tailored around their needs
- 02Scope, shape and present technical workshops to drive Algolia’s adoption
- 03Advise Algolia’s customers on the best technical and industry practices around search implementation and optimization
- 04Work closely with the account’s Customer Success Manager to ensure the customer’s long term health through a world-class support experience
- 05Work across the organisation and escalate as necessary for confirmation of solutions or other options
- 06Partner with Product Teams and Engineering to develop subject matter expertise and serve as a product expert to customers
- 07Develop, maintain and present comprehensive case status reports to customers on a regularly scheduled meeting
- 08Proactively identify and work with the customer to resolve technical risks and bottlenecks
- 09Provide guidance on how to optimise the use of their environment
- 10Deliver high-quality technical onboarding, solution design, best-practice guidance, and hands-on implementation support
- 11Support Professional and Expert Foundation offerings, acting as a Technical Owner for assigned accounts and ensuring smooth delivery through clear communication, rigorous documentation, and thoughtful stakeholder alignment
- 12Balance customer-facing delivery with internal best practices such as strong documentation habits and ongoing knowledge sharing
Требования
- 014+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role (CSE, SE, SA, consultant), ideally in the SaaS space
- 02Functional knowledge of at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Java, PHP, C#, Objective-C, Swift, Ruby, Python
- 03Experience with REST API, database management, and web development technologies
- 04Experience delivering technical workshops of various nature (training, knowledge transfer, implementation, code review)
- 05A lifelong learning and growth mindset
- 06Strong desire to help people solve problems with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a broad audience
- 07Proficiency in communicating complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences via phone and email
- 08Excellence in time management, task prioritization, and evaluation of situational urgency
- 09Willingness to travel to customers' locations occasionally
- 10Deep curiosity, love for solving complex technical problems, and enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies including modern development patterns, cloud infrastructure, and emerging AI capabilities
Условия
- 01On-target earnings pay range $130,500 – $163,000 AUD (base salary and commission)
- 02Flexible workplace strategy with option to work fully remote or hybrid-remote
- 03Travel to customer locations may be required occasionally
- 04Global presence with offices in Paris, NYC, London, Sydney, and Bucharest
