Senior Solutions Engineer - Calgary

- 01Partner with sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
- 02Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demos of Cloudflare products
- 03Run proof‑of‑concept trials for customers
- 04Identify and map customer initiatives and business problems to Cloudflare solutions
- 05Build relationships and technical champions within customer accounts
- 06Develop and present customer presentations at all enterprise organization levels
- 07Lead demo and proof‑of‑concept activities for prospects and customers
- 08Create professional content such as white papers and blog posts
- 09Represent and evangelize Cloudflare at developer, community, technology, cybersecurity and industry events
- 10Advise customers on best practices and apply vertical/domain expertise
Требования
- 01Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer or similar customer‑facing technical role with CDN, security, networking or SaaS
- 02Strong verbal and written communication, presentation skills
- 03Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- 04Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 05Willingness to travel up to 50% for meetings, conferences and collaboration
- 06Fundamental understanding of customer network and application architectures
- 07Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- 08Knowledge of application and network security concepts
- 09Experience with VPN, remote access, SIEM and log analytics platforms
- 10Understanding of client OS fundamentals and software distribution
- 11Experience interacting with senior executives on network and security transformation
- 12Knowledge of routing, subnetting, split tunnels, SD‑WAN and local internet breakout
- 13Awareness of end‑user and application security risks (DDoS, malware, phishing, viruses)
- 14Familiarity with competitive CDN and internet security market
