- 01Analyze the tradeoffs of cost, quality, and responsiveness throughout Samsara’s increasingly complex supply chain, from materials procurement to last‑mile delivery
- 02Develop a deep understanding of Samsara’s vendor base to anticipate industry trends and track competitive forces for materials, logistics, and fulfillment services
- 03Adopt negotiation strategies to create optimal terms for sourcing to ensure business continuity while maintaining quality for hardware components, finished goods, freight rates, and warehousing services
- 04Build key relationships with cross‑functional stakeholders in Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and Customer Success
- 05Develop a deep understanding of new product introduction (NPI) launches and operational implementation
- 06Drive cross‑functional projects focused on the Integrated Business Planning process and actively consolidate supply chain insights for senior leadership decision‑making
- 07Conduct analytics on process value optimization, cost opportunities and risks, market intelligence, and international dynamics to inform Samsara’s product and operational roadmap
- 08Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices
Требования
- 01MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Finance, Economics, or equivalent, completed in 2024 or later
- 024+ years of prior experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain (pre‑ or post‑graduate)
- 03Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects to a wider audience
- 04High proficiency with G‑Suite products and familiarity with AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, etc.)
- 05Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills
- 06Attention to detail while never losing sight of the big picture
- 07Proactive, positive approach to problem‑solving while dealing with ambiguity, changing priorities, and business volatility
- 08Strong commitment to a career in operations or supply chain
- 09Exceptional team‑player mentality

- 01This role is fully remote
- 02This role is open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area
- 0318‑month leadership development rotational program
- 04Three 6‑month rotations in functional areas such as Planning & Forecasting, Sourcing & Supply Chain Program Management, and Logistics & Orders Fulfillment
- 05Work alongside a global team of seasoned professionals
