Developer Success Engineer

- 01Lead customers—from fast-paced startups to established enterprises—through defined technical motions that accelerate their adoption and launch on Vercel
- 02Provide implementation guidance to ensure deployments follow best practices for builds, caching, web performance, and cost efficiency
- 03Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to Next.js, serverless functions, build pipelines, and integrations
- 04Identify and unblock opportunities for customer growth and expansion
- 05Author and maintain resources—including internal playbooks, external documentation, and knowledge base articles—that scale learnings across internal teams and customers
- 06Partner with Sales, Support, and Product teams to escalate complex issues, close feedback loops, and influence product improvements
- 07Spot patterns in customer challenges and proactively recommend optimizations or new motions that improve adoption at scale
Требования
- 013+ years of experience in frontend development, technical support, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical role
- 02Strong knowledge of Next.js, React, and modern web performance best practices
- 03Familiarity with troubleshooting frontend build systems, serverless runtimes, and API integrations
- 04Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and provide structured recommendations with empathy and clarity
- 05Strong communication skills—you can explain technical concepts clearly in writing, async channels, and live conversations.
- 06Must have used Vercel or Next.js, or a comparable platform.
- 07Passion for helping developers succeed by delivering clear guidance, reducing friction, and creating scalable resources.

- 06The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $138,000 - $206,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
