01Lead Anthropic's market entry and expansion in the Australian public sector, establishing our presence and building relationships with key stakeholders across government departments and agencies
02Own the full sales cycle for Australian public sector opportunities, from initial outreach through to successful deployment, with a focus on building long-term strategic partnerships
03Navigate the unique procurement requirements, security standards, and compliance frameworks specific to Australian government technology adoption
04Collaborate with policy teams to ensure alignment with Australian government AI strategies and initiatives
05Design and execute innovative sales strategies tailored to the Australian public sector environment, meeting and exceeding revenue targets while maintaining strong relationships with procurement teams and decision-makers
06Provide market intelligence and feedback to product teams to ensure our offerings meet Australian public sector requirements and use cases
07Build and maintain relationships with relevant systems integrators and technology partners in the Australian market
08Develop and document best practices for Australian public sector engagement, creating playbooks that can scale our presence in the market
09Serve as a leader within the broader public sector team, sharing insights and collaborating on cross-market opportunities

0110+ years of enterprise sales experience in the Australian public sector, with a proven track record of driving adoption of emerging technologies
02Deep understanding of Australian government procurement processes, security requirements, and technology adoption frameworks
03Security clearances required
04Demonstrated ability to build and grow new market segments, with potential to develop into a leadership role
05Strong track record of managing complex sales cycles and securing strategic deals in the public sector
06Experience navigating multiple stakeholders across government departments, building consensus and providing innovative solutions
07Excellent communication skills and ability to present confidently to all levels, from technical teams to senior government officials
08Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities
09Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with global teams
10A passion for safe and ethical AI development, with the ability to articulate its importance in the public sector
11Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a field relevant to the role
