Manager, Field Engineering - Strategic Accounts Germany

  • 01Build, lead, and scale the pre-sales (Solutions Architect) team for Strategic Manufacturing and Energy customers in Germany
  • 02Hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development
  • 03Own pre-sales ROI and effectiveness including coverage models, prioritization, and impact on win-rate, sales cycles, and customer adoption
  • 04Act as a player-coach in strategic opportunities balancing hands-on involvement with building repeatable motions and coaching mechanisms
  • 05Establish and reinforce a solution- and value-based selling culture focused on business outcomes
  • 06Partner closely with Sales leadership to support forecast accuracy, pipeline quality, and consumption growth
  • 07Engage with C-level and senior executives at strategic customers to build trusted relationships
  • 08Drive a scalable adoption model by anchoring partner and PS attach and establishing pre-/post-sales handshake
  • 09Represent Field Engineering as part of the regional leadership team

Требования

  • 01Proven experience building and managing pre-sales or technical field teams in high-growth environment
  • 02Strong background in data engineering, analytics platforms, databases, or data science
  • 03Demonstrated success in consumption-based or SaaS business models including forecasting and expansion
  • 04Ability to operate as a player-coach balancing hands-on deal involvement with scalable team leadership
  • 05Track record of partnering effectively with Sales and cross-functional leaders
  • 06Experience establishing repeatable processes that improve efficiency
  • 07Passion for data and AI market and ability to articulate executive-level POV on Databricks value
  • 08Executive presence with ability to influence and communicate confidently at C-level
  • 09Fluent German (highly preferred)
  • 10Fluent English (required)
