  • 01Drive consumption by identifying key use cases and increasing platform usage
  • 02Identify, structure and close strategic committed deals
  • 03Prospect and generate leads using intent signals, account planning and customer stories
  • 04Engage prospects through BDRs, marketing and network to displace incumbent technologies
  • 05Conduct first meetings with compelling points of view to create urgency for change
  • 06Create territory and account plans to prioritize pursuits
  • 07Participate in roundtables, bootcamps and industry events to build relationships and progress pipeline
  • 08Maintain accurate Salesforce pipeline, create proofs of concept and manage sales cycle from contact to close
  • 09Collaborate with architects, professional services, demand planning and executive sponsors to ensure customer success

  • 01Proven track record in sales
  • 02Experience selling innovation in Big Data, Cloud or SaaS environments
  • 03Strong prospecting, lead generation and customer engagement skills
  • 04Ability to drive consumption and secure first‑time commitments
  • 05Effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams including GDRs and Customer Success
  • 06Technical acumen to understand and communicate the value of Databricks platform
  • 07Initiative, proactive attitude, prioritisation, grit and detail‑orientation
  • 08Coachability and openness to change and uncertainty
