Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Post Training

- 01Fine-tuning state-of-the-art LLMs for diverse use cases
- 02Optimizing models for high-performance deployment on Airbnb’s ML Infrastructure
- 03Partnering with product managers, software engineers, data scientists and operation teams to brainstorm, design and develop AI products
- 04Working with large scale structured and unstructured data to explore, experiment, build and continuously improve foundation models
- 05Creating a multi-year tech roadmap to stay on the leading edge of the AI landscape
- 06Continuously evaluating recent and upcoming large foundational models for selection and refinement
- 07Hands-on prototyping, developing and productionizing LLM models and pipelines at scale
- 08Driving key AI architectural decisions for products
- 09Contributing to Airbnb’s ML platform architecture and strategy
Требования
- 01PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field
- 0210+ years of experience with developing machine learning models and products at scale from inception to business impact
- 03Programming experience in Python
- 04Hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch
- 05Proven record of training, fine tuning, optimizing models and inference run-time
- 06Post-training experience in areas like data processing for fine-tuning; responsible LLMs; LLM alignment; reinforcement learning; efficient training and inference; language model evaluation; and/or multilingual and multimodal modeling
- 07Or specialized experience in runtime optimizations, model quantization, compression, on-device inference, GPU inference, pytorch, kernel development

- 03Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
- 04Base pay range $248,000 — $310,000 USD
- 05Role may be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits
