01Research and experiment on ways to specialize foundational models to agentic use cases
02Build and maintain data and training pipelines
03Keep up with latest research, and be familiar with state of the art in LLMs, alignment, synthetic data generation, code generation
04Design, analyze, and iterate on training/fine-tuning/data generation experiments
05Write high-quality, pragmatic code
06Work as part of a team: plan future steps, discuss, and communicate clearly with your peers

01Experience with Large Language Models (LLM)
02Deep knowledge of Transformers
03Strong deep learning fundamentals
04Good taste in data
05Post-training experience with LLMs
06Extensively used and probed LLMs, familiarity of their capabilities and limitations
07Knowledge of distributed training
08Strong machine learning and engineering background
09Research experience
10Experience in proposing and evaluating novel research ideas
11Familiar with, or contributed to the state of the art in multiple of the following topics: Fine-tuning and alignment of LLMs, synthetic data generation, continual learning, RLVR, code generation
12Is comfortable in a rapidly iterating environment
13Is reasonably opinionated
14Programming experience
15Linux
16Strong algorithmic skills
17Python with PyTorch or Jax
18Use modern tools, including latest code agents and are always looking to improve
19Strong critical thinking and ability to question code quality policies when applicable
20Prior experience in non-ML programming, especially not in Python - is a nice to have
