01Learn the domain and proactively spot areas for improvement, getting stakeholder buy-in as needed.
02Own design work end-to-end while helping shape broader product direction.
03Hold a high bar for quality across the team and help other designers build support for their decisions.
04Become a design leader within APM by proactively identifying opportunities and shaping the design strategy across multiple product areas and workflows.
05Partner closely with PMs and Engineers to ship intuitive experiences, balancing user needs with platform scalability and engineering constraints.
06Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to identify pain points, validate solutions, and guide roadmap decisions.
07Communicate design rationale clearly and persuasively across design, engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.
08Mentor and support other designers by providing feedback, sharing frameworks and workflows, and helping raise the overall design quality bar across the organization.
09Prototype in code to rapidly explore ideas and validate concepts.
10Contribute to production code using AI-assisted workflows to ensure execution matches design intent.
11Help the team adopt AI-enabled design workflows.

01You have 10+ years of experience in digital product design.
02Your portfolio demonstrates a strong track record of designing and shipping complex technical products.
03You use AI-assisted workflows to prototype and rapidly iterate.
04You have a track record of connecting design decisions to measurable business outcomes --not just shipping features, but showing how your work moved the business forward.
05You have shipped code and are interested in evolving how design teams incorporate AI tools into their workflows.
06You are comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and influencing product direction through strong systems thinking and product judgment.
07You have a track record of telling compelling stories that build alignment, influence stakeholders, and articulate a clear product and design vision.
08You are deeply thoughtful about edge cases, scalability, information architecture, and designing for technical depth without sacrificing usability.
09You proactively lead initiatives from concept to execution, balancing priorities and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
10You have experience designing for developer platforms, observability tools, infrastructure products, or other highly technical domains.
11You give and receive feedback well, and proactively mentor other designers to elevate the quality of the broader team.
