• 01Co-develop Datadog’s next visual direction by applying and stress-testing it across representative product journeys
• 02Translate visual principles into concrete decisions about hierarchy, layout, navigation, information architecture, interaction, and behavior
• 03Use visual language to clarify complex, data-dense experiences — hierarchy, density, and attention
• 04Hold the visual quality bar across work you don't own, and align teams around it
• 05Prototype, test, and refine new patterns before they become systemized
• 06Partner deeply with Product Design, Design Systems, and engineering to turn successful concepts into durable system guidance and implementation
• 07Create clear artifacts, pilots, and narratives that help teams adopt the direction and raise the product quality bar
• 08Influence stakeholders across design, engineering, product, and executive partners

• 0112+ years of experience in product and/or visual design
• 02Elevated craft and ability to execute at a high bar
• 03Product-native understanding of how visual design and product design act on each other
• 04Ability to use visual language to clarify experiences and explain design decisions
• 05Strong thinking in information architecture, hierarchy, and holistic system work
• 06Experience taking concepts and turning them into patterns that scaled across real products
• 07Comfort operating in ambiguity and large, complex organizations
• 08Portfolio demonstrating shipped product surfaces with exceptional visual quality
• 09Persuasive collaborator who can align designers, engineers, product partners, and executives
