Responsibilities
- 01Be the trusted technical advisor to key customer stakeholders: CTOs, CISOs, IT Executives, Security Engineers, Network Engineers, Head of Physical Security, etc
- 02Utilize your technical expertise to understand and analyse customer requirements to formulate and design system solutions
- 03Collaborate with the Sales team to assess and qualify customer opportunities, and translate business needs into clear specifications to contribute to the design of effective technical solutions
- 04Lead product demonstrations and deliver engaging presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
- 05Act as the Verkada technical Subject Matter Expert, collaborating closely with other departments such as Product, Support, Marketing, and Enablement
- 06Directly interface with customers/partners and stakeholders throughout the sales process
- 07Analyse business and technical requirements
- 08Overcome technical objections
- 09Assist customers in designing deployments with Verkada products
- 10Provide technical assistance to territory account reps
Requirements
- 01Bachelor's degree in Information and Computer Technology, Cybersecurity or related Engineering degree from an accredited university
- 02Demonstrate a solid understanding of TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs and L2 devices
- 03Exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities
- 04Excellent account management, follow-through, and attention to detail
- 05Entrepreneurial and positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
- 06Experience working with IT infrastructure, Linux operating systems, APIs, Python, and other coding languages preferred
- 07Industry certifications are a plus: Network+, Security+, CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.
