Responsibilities
- 01Design and build data pipelines for large volumes of payment data that are performant, reliable, and correct
- 02Own end-to-end data flows: from ingestion and transformation through to the outputs that Finance, Product, and clients depend on
- 03Drive data quality across your domain with tooling
- 04Work cross-functionally with Product, Finance and enable other Engineering teams via a 'consulting' style model
- 05Contribute to how the team works — code review culture, CI/CD standards, ADRs, how we handle incidents
- 06Help onboard and level up engineers around you
Requirements
- 01Proven proactivity, technical acumen and the ability to lead initiatives and deliver projects
- 02Experience in defining and evolving data engineering standards, architectural guidelines and governance, ideally within a regulated environment
- 03Strong Python and SQL skills
- 04Hands-on experience with Spark or Flink in production
- 05DBT for data transformation
- 06StarRocks or a comparable analytical database
- 07Experience building and operating data pipelines in AWS and/or GCP
- 08Comfortable with data quality tooling and the mindset that correctness is non-negotiable
- 09Familiarity with medallion / lakehouse architecture patterns
- 10Verbal and written fluency in English
