Sr. Security Engineer - Enterprise Security

- 01Build, operate, and maintain Samsara’s core security infrastructure
- 02Provide influence and leadership over the Enterprise Security roadmap and priorities
- 03Write documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows
- 04Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Security partners to implement security tools and policies
- 05Assist the Security Operations team during investigations as a technical subject matter expert
- 06Partner with engineering teams to triage and remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
- 07Mentor Security engineers and help develop their domain knowledge and tool skills
- 08Champion and embed company cultural principles while scaling globally
Требования
- 014+ years of experience in an Enterprise Security role with demonstrated impact
- 02Deep expertise in enterprise security engineering best practices, especially SASE tools like Zscaler
- 03Strong scripting skills in Python and experience building automation tools
- 04Experience building, integrating, and maintaining enterprise security tools
- 05Familiarity with common security problems and ability to assess severity and business impact
- 06Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Tines and AWS Lambda
- 07Experience with security platforms like Crowdstrike, Zscaler, and Wiz
- 08Proven track record of delivering impactful work across multiple quarters
- 09Residency in Pacific or Hawaii time zones (CA, HI, OR, NV, WA)
- 10Experience with zero‑trust, least‑privilege, just‑in‑time access, identity lifecycle management, and data loss prevention (preferred)
- 11Experience building security programs using SaaS platforms such as Crowdstrike, Mimecast Incydr, Splunk (preferred)
- 12Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform (preferred)

- 02Annual base salary range $135,481.50 – $227,700 USD (varies by location and experience)
