Sr. Engineering Program Manager

Remote - Taiwan

  • 01Develop the hardware schedule and execute engineering builds, including EVT, DVT, and PVT
  • 02Ensure tight cross-functional coordination and communication between Software, Hardware, Product Management and Operations
  • 03Ensure our JDM partners have a clear understanding of the project goals and requirements
  • 04Manage JDM and other key suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality devices
  • 05Leverage your experience and engineering skills to address issues during device builds and keep the program on track
  • 06Provide regular reporting of program status and issues, coordinating closely with the System EPM in the US
  • 07Stay in alignment with Operations on BOM/Build costs and material availability
  • 08Be a role model of Samsara’s cultural principles both internally and externally
  • 09Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s values and operating principles as we scale globally and across new offices

Требования

  • 015+ years experience in hardware engineering program management
  • 02Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and factory build events
  • 03Solid organizational skills including attention to details, prioritization and triage of issues
  • 04Adaptive attitude for a rapidly-evolving industry
  • 05Proven record driving cross-functional teams toward shared goals
  • 06Self-motivated, proactive, creative and critical problem-solving capabilities
  • 07BS or MS degree in an engineering related field is required, Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Science is preferred
  • 08Experience with Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or related project scheduling software
  • 09Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence for project summaries and issue tracking
  • 10Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin
