  • 01Manage and coach 6–8 engineers, fostering an inclusive culture and establishing team rituals that drive both excellence and professional growth
  • 02Partner with product, design, and UXR to translate customer pain points into a reliable, technical MVP and a scalable architectural roadmap
  • 03Collaborate with cross-functional partners managers to balance large-scale feature launches with iterative, daily product enhancements
  • 04Guide the articulation and execution of the team’s future roadmap and ensure the team’s work ties back into high-level business goals
  • 05Spend significant time with customers to validate technical feasibility and co-develop workflows that solve real-world problems

  • 015+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years managing a technical team
  • 02Demonstrated track record of growing engineers across levels
  • 03Earns trust quickly — bringing the intelligence, empathy, and technical depth to go deep on architecture, flows, and tradeoffs alongside a sharp engineering team
  • 04Has built and scaled new products or incubations before, operating with urgency and resourcefulness, pushing through ambiguity without needing perfect structure
  • 05Thrives in customer conversations and translates qualitative insights into crisp product decisions, energized by solving real operational pain, not just shipping features
  • 06Clear, persuasive communicator who can bring structure to ambiguous spaces and align engineering, design, product, and exec stakeholders around a coherent direction
  • 07Deeply curious about AI and emerging technologies, actively leveraging them to elevate product experiences, sharpen decision-making, and move faster
  • 08Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making

  • 01Role is based in the Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule
  • 02Standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
  • 03Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays
  • 04Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner
  • 05Estimated base salary range is between $238,000-$270,000 CAD
