Обязанности
- 01Lead the Snowtrail infrastructure team at Snowflake
- 02Evolve Snowtrail to incorporate new engine features while improving scalability, efficiency, and reliability
- 03Ensure the platform’s reliability, correctness, and performance through query replay and regression testing
- 04Leverage machine learning models to intelligently sample queries and workloads for cost and performance optimization
- 05Collaborate across teams to build high-performing engineering teams and mentor junior engineers
- 06Drive experimental mindset to test emerging capabilities and simplify work processes
- 07Maintain and enhance multi-tenant systems with focus on reliability, performance, isolation, security, and scalability
Требования
- 0110+ years industry experience designing and building distributed data systems
- 02Strong passion and proven track record for shipping quality software in high code velocity environments
- 03Excellent problem-solving skills and strong CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
- 04Fluency in SQL, Java, C++, Python, or Go
- 05Ability to collaborate well across teams and build high-performing teams
- 06Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- 07Ability to work on-site at San Mateo, CA or Bellevue, WA offices
