01Lead, build and improve Snowflake’s feature flagging and experimentation platform
02Work on complex framework and code which are used at various places in Snowflake’s engineering stack to control feature flags
03Build a deep understanding of Snowflake’s infrastructure and services
04Contribute to the team charter to build and operate highly scalable, resilient, and performant infrastructure
05Work on large and complex projects that build frameworks, platforms, tools, and automation which will serve and enable the various other engineering teams at Snowflake
06Partner with various engineering teams at Snowflake to understand their tech stack and requirements, translate requirements into tangible projects with milestones and lead the team to design and implement the project
07Build intuitive and resilient APIs and libraries for other developers as well as Snowflake customers
08Evangelize and drive adoption of the Platform & Framework built by the team to meet business goals
09Support junior team members, contribute with excellent code quality, documentation, and software development best practices

018+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on distributed systems
02Deep experience building and operating large scale cloud services
03Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, C++, or Python
04Solid understanding of system performance, debugging, and reliability engineering principles
05Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
06Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and influence architecture decisions
07Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
08Strong sense of ownership and desire to build great tools & frameworks for other engineers
09Tremendous attention to detail and ability to build reliable and scalable software systems
10Effective communication and collaboration skills
11A strong work ethic, ability to self-manage and drive project success, and a passion for problem-solving
12Proven ability to lead and execute projects that begin with incomplete information or ambiguity requiring a need to drive clarity and consensus with various stakeholders
13Follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data
14Abide by the company’s data security plan as an essential part of their duties
