  • 01Own end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new features and major releases
  • 02Write launch materials (blog posts, landing pages, demos, videos)
  • 03Partner with product and engineering to ensure strong product-market fit before launch
  • 04Develop clear, differentiated positioning for Cursor and its features
  • 05Turn complex AI + developer workflows into simple, compelling narratives
  • 06Continuously refine messaging based on user feedback and market shifts
  • 07Partner closely with the Developer Relations team to create high-signal content for technical audiences (guides, use cases, comparisons)
  • 08Showcase real workflows and power-user behaviors—not generic marketing fluff
  • 09Collaborate with the community to highlight authentic use cases
  • 10Translate product capabilities into clear, compelling messaging that sales and GTM teams can use effectively
  • 11Provide the right narratives, positioning, and materials to communicate value and win users
  • 12Partner closely with sales, field, and developer relations to understand customer needs objections
  • 13Continuously refine messaging based on real-world feedback and performance
  • 14Identify and test new channels to reach developers (Twitter/X, GitHub, YouTube, etc.)
  • 15Work with growth to improve activation, onboarding, and retention messaging
  • 16Run experiments to improve conversion across the funnel
  • 17Talk to users regularly to understand needs, objections, and mental models
  • 18Analyze competitors and evolving AI/dev tooling landscape
  • 19Bring insights back into product and marketing decisions

Требования

  • 013+ years in product marketing, product management, growth, consulting, banking or a similar role (ideally in developer tools or SaaS)
  • 02Strong technical intuition—you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable understanding developer tools and communicating to a technical audience
  • 03Product Instincts - ability to engage in product discussions and push back thoughtfully
  • 04Exceptional communication skills - Ability to simplify complex concepts without dumbing them down
  • 05High ownership: you can take a project from idea → execution → iteration
  • 06Comfort in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
