01Own end-to-end revenue recognition under ASC 606
02Lead the revenue close
03Serve as the internal expert on how new products, pricing structures, and commercial arrangements hit the income statement
04Partner closely with Sales, Legal, Billing Operations, Engineering, and FP&A to review contracts
05Assess performance obligations
06Ensure revenue is recognised accurately and on time
07Manage the technical standards
08Coordinate external audit
09Build scalable processes as we move toward IPO readiness

01Deep expertise in ASC 606, including multi-element arrangements, SSP evaluation, variable consideration, contract modifications, and principal vs. agent analysis
02Experience leading the revenue close: deferred revenue management, unbilled receivables, journal entry review, and month-end flux analysis
03Track record of partnering with Sales and Legal on contract review and revenue impact assessments
04Experience operating in a pre-IPO or public company environment, with direct exposure to external audit, controls build-out, and revenue accounting documentation
05CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualification (active); Big 4 or public accounting background a strong plus
06Strong systems proficiency; Stripe, HubiFi or a comparable revenue recognition tool preferred
07Experience with consumption/usage-based and subscription billing models
08Familiarity with ASC 326 (CECL) and AR accounting in a high-volume SaaS context
09Multi-entity or international revenue accounting background
