Crypto Product Accounting

01Own P&L accounting for Bridge’s products, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, financial reporting deliverables, and analytical reviews
02Partner closely with Bridge’s product, go-to-market, and finance partners to thoroughly understand new products, features, and contracts, and advise on accounting implications
03Partner with internal systems and engineering teams to support internal financial systems and automation of accounting processes
04Research and prepare technical accounting analyses
05Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, and design new processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities
06Identify, recommend and implement scalable accounting processes to support global growth at Bridge
07Understand data and system flows, analyzing financial results to identify and address anomalies
08Support external audit processes

017+ years of relevant public accounting and/or industry experience
02Experience accounting for cryptocurrencies, including stablecoins
03Experience with SQL
04B.A. or B.S degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
05Fluency in U.S. GAAP and ability to research complex accounting issues
06Proven track record of managing high volumes of complex transactions and financial issues
07Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiences
08Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders
09Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders
10Demonstrated history of taking on various types of challenging projects and producing results, with excellent attention to detail
11Solution-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for establishing best practices, and challenging existing processes to identify improvement opportunities
