Tax Manager

  • 01Lead all aspects of international GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory tax provisions, including working with Elasticians across various teams and external auditors
  • 02Ensure compliance with SOX controls and reporting as a public company
  • 03Oversee and manage external consultants to ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns, R&D credit studies, foreign tax returns, Pillar 2, and transfer pricing compliance
  • 04Coordinate and manage compliance audits and inquiries from tax authorities
  • 05Support various tax projects such as acquisitions, restructurings, tax planning, and legal entity assessment
  • 06Actively monitor and analyze global tax legislation and impact to Elastic, focusing on corporate tax while assisting with other taxes
  • 07Mentor and train direct reports as well as others within and outside the Tax team to foster continued growth of tax knowledge and build collaborative relationships across the organization

Требования

  • 01Tax provision experience under US GAAP required and IFRS strongly preferred
  • 02Experience in managing Tax compliance required
  • 03Bachelor’s degree in accountancy
  • 04CPA and/or MS in Tax strongly preferred
  • 055+ years of progressive, proven experience across both industry and large accounting firms working with global companies
  • 06Experience with NetSuite, OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Uncertain Tax Position
  • 07Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • 08Strong analytical and management skills combined with interest and experience in process improvement, automation, and efficiency

  • 01Base salary range $106,900 – $169,100 USD (alternate range $128,200 – $202,700 USD in select locations such as Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Metro)
