- 01Lead the growth of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform as a Solutions Architect
- 02Work with customers, teammates, product team, post-sales team, and partners to identify use cases for Databricks
- 03Develop architectures and solutions using the Databricks platform
- 04Guide customers through the implementation of Databricks to achieve meaningful business outcomes
- 05Build relationships with customers, identify and cultivate champions, and establish yourself as a trusted advisor
- 06Partner with the sales team to help customers understand how Databricks can solve their business problems
- 07Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Databricks
- 08Consult on big data architecture and execute proof of concepts for strategic customer projects
- 09Validate integrations with cloud services and other third-party applications
- 10Build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demonstrate applications for customers
- 11Become an expert in and promote open source projects (Apache Spark™, Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog) across developer communities through meetups, conferences, and webinars
- 12Travel to meet with customers in your territory
Требования
- 017+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales role or consulting role, preferably working with big-data technologies to solve data engineering and big-data analytical challenges
- 02Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems
- 03Comfortable programming in and debugging at least one of: Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R
- 04Experience working with global system integrators, consulting organizations, or financial services technology, or financial services data providers is a positive differentiator
- 05Experience building solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- 06Experience with Data Engineering technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
- 07Experience with Data Warehousing technologies (e.g., SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS)
- 08Undergraduate degree or higher in an engineering or mathematics discipline such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, etc.

- 01Pay range: $180,000 — $247,500 USD
