Commercial Account Executive - Named, US West

- 01Meet or exceed quota while fostering strong customer relationships
- 02Articulate the value of GitLab to Commercial prospects and customers in the US Eastern region
- 03Take ownership of and act as the CEO for the book of business in your territory, documenting buying criteria, process, next steps and owners
- 04Build a strong pipeline through a healthy cadence of prospecting activity
- 05Prospect and close new business to expand your territory
- 06Ensure adoption of solutions and work to avoid churn and contraction
- 07Work and collaborate with the Partner ecosystem to drive new business and value for customers
- 08Create an accurate forecast for each quarter against plan/budget
- 09Drive attendance to events to network with current and prospective customers
- 10Contribute to root cause analyses on wins/losses and share lessons learned with internal teams
- 11Document improvements in the sales handbook
- 12Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Customer Success, Renewals, Sales Development to provide account leadership
- 13Be the voice of the customer by contributing product ideas to the public issue tracker
- 14Master MEDPICC and Command of the Message on all opportunities
Требования
- 01True desire to see customers benefit from their investment with GitLab
- 02Progressive experience with SaaS sales, preferably to development or DevOps teams
- 03Interest in GitLab and open source software
- 04Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques
- 05Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
- 06Motivated, driven and results‑oriented
- 07Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills
- 08Ability to travel regularly to meet customers in person and comply with travel policy
- 09Alignment with GitLab values

- 02Base salary range $91,600 – $152,400 USD (US only), plus incentive pay up to 100% of base
