Responsibilities
- 01Contribute to the roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs
- 02Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
- 03Have a good grasp and ability to explain the various trade offs made in decisions
- 04Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
- 05Build Features from tech specification to positive execution
- 06Proactively participate in resolving ongoing incidents
- 07Unblock, support, effectively communicate, and obtain buy-in across teams to achieve results
- 08Share your knowledge by giving brown bags and tech talks
Requirements
- 01BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience
- 023+ years of software engineering industry experience
- 03Proficiency in object-oriented programming
- 04Experience designing, debugging and running fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems
- 05Experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
- 06Experience with common CI tools (Jenkins, Buildkite, CircleCI, TeamCity), and proficiency in at least one of those tools
- 07Solid knowledge of distributed systems, relational and NoSQL databases
