Responsibilities
- 01Design, develop, deploy, monitor, operate and maintain existing or new elements of the Fulfillment tech stack
- 02Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
- 03Have a good grasp and ability to explain the various tradeoffs made in decisions
- 04Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
- 05Lead projects from idea to positive execution
- 06Proactively participate in resolving ongoing incidents
- 07Unblock, support, effectively communicate, and obtain buy-in across teams to achieve results
- 08Share your knowledge by giving brown bags, tech talks, and evangelizing appropriate tech and engineering best practices
Requirements
- 01BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience
- 022+ years of software engineering industry experience
- 03Proficiency in object-oriented programming
- 04Experience designing, debugging and running fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems
- 05Experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
- 06Proficiency in scripting languages to use APIs to automate manual processes
- 07Experience with common CI tools (Jenkins, Buildkite, CircleCI, TeamCity), and proficiency in at least one of those tools
- 08Solid knowledge of distributed systems, relational and NoSQL databases
- 09Ability to communicate in English in writing, meetings, and presentations

- 18The expected base pay range for this position in the Seattle area is $128,000 - $160,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
