Responsibilities
- 01Define and drive the end-to-end architecture of NetSuite and financial system ecosystem
- 02Establish a multi-quarter architectural vision balancing flexibility, scalability, and operational simplicity
- 03Identify systemic risks and proactively evolve the platform to prevent future constraints
- 04Collaborate with business stakeholders to design solutions and deliver technical implementations aligned with business objectives
- 05Set standards for clean architecture, maintainable automation, and scalable system design
- 06Identify and reduce tech debt, redundant logic, and fragile implementations
- 07Design and develop end-to-end NetSuite solutions using SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, Custom Records, Saved Searches, SuiteScript, SuiteTalk APIs, and SuiteCloud Development Framework
- 08Lead and execute complex system redesigns (e.g., Zone Advanced Billing, advanced pricing/product modeling, OneWorld subsidiary structures, intercompany transactions)
- 09Replace customizations with native NetSuite functionality
- 10Design, implement, and support integrations between NetSuite (including OneWorld multi-subsidiary environments) and other enterprise applications
- 11Ensure data consistency across entities, currencies, and geographies
- 12Formalize NetSuite release management and deployment processes (Sandbox strategy, SuiteBundler/SDF deployments, CI/CD pipelines)
- 13Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite issues to ensure system stability, performance, and scalability
Requirements
- 015–7+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and scaling NetSuite environments in complex or high-growth SaaS organizations
- 02Strong hands-on expertise with SuiteScript (1.0/2.x), SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, integrations/APIs, and NetSuite data model
- 03Hands-on experience with Zone Advanced Billing (ZAB), including usage-based billing, rating, invoicing workflows, and integration with revenue and financial processes
- 04Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable, multi-system architectures within the NetSuite ecosystem
- 05Experience leading end-to-end system ownership from architecture and implementation through optimization and support
- 06Deep understanding of order-to-cash / quote-to-cash processes within NetSuite and connected systems
- 07Strong ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into pragmatic, scalable NetSuite solutions
- 08Deep understanding of quote-to-cash and order-to-cash processes within NetSuite, including complex pricing models, subscription billing, invoicing, and revenue workflows
- 09Strong experience working in NetSuite OneWorld environments, including multi-subsidiary design, intercompany transactions, and global financial operations
- 10Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work across finance, operations, and technical teams
- 11Champion integration of AI and automation capabilities to drive operational efficiency and scalability
- 12Demonstrated strong adherence to SDLC best practices
