Data Center Operations Technician (Night Shift)

- 01Performing troubleshooting and monitoring of the servers, diagnose and repair
- 02Rack and stack of data center network equipment during build out
- 03Maintaining our network infrastructure which includes network gear swaps, troubleshooting optics/fiber links and repairing them
- 04Manage, response and resolution of data center operations tickets used cross functionally via Jira
- 05Create and Maintain documentation of tasks and standard operating procedures
- 06Receipt and Decommissioning of data center hardware
- 07Installation of racks, servers and switches; this includes staging racks in place, cabling, power up and handoff of hardware to the provisioning team for customer capacity allocation
- 08Maintain Warehouse inventory and asset management using our internal application
- 09Vendor returns for infrastructure under and out of warranty
- 10Manage spare parts inventory within the data center
- 11Define, design, and implement network layouts and solutions within our data centers
Требования
- 012+ years of experience working with server, storage, compute and network hardware
- 022+ Years of experience troubleshooting and repairing servers and networking infrastructure
- 031+ years of experience in Inventory Management, and ordering, receiving and shipping server and network equipment
- 04Strong linux skills including
- 05Must be able to lift 75 lbs
- 06Availability and willingness to work night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- 07Experience being on-call and ability to respond to critical events as needed
- 08Experience leading Data Center Infrastructure projects
- 09Curious to always learn new things within the Data Center World
- 10Excellent prioritization and time management skills
- 11Able to work in a fast paced environment and detail oriented
- 121+ years of experience in Structured Cabling Copper/Fiber
- 131+ years of experience in Power and Cooling concepts inside the data center
