  • 01Work closely with the Digital Creative Director, designers, and copywriters on conceptual development, design and execution across key marketing briefs for digital experiences on okta.com
  • 02Develop creative ideas that meet project KPIs; test and iterate when necessary
  • 03Manager and mentor three Sr. Designers, encouraging their own personal growth and development
  • 04Uplevel the design team by providing dedicated one on one support, particularly for more junior designers
  • 05Partner with the Copy Manager to lead brainstorm sessions and project critiques
  • 06Work cross functionally with key marketing leads, digital partners, and the Studio to present creative concepts and solutions against briefs
  • 07Ensure the consistency of the brand and highest quality of design across all projects
  • 08Keen understanding and passion to learn about and share insights on digital design and industry trends
  • 09Create, concept, inspire others, and roll up their sleeves while bringing creative ideas to life; can deliver and receive direct and clear feedback
  • 10Ability to think big while operating at the lowest level of detail
  • 11Must be a self starter while being comfortable guiding teams, freelancers, agencies, and production partners
  • 12Must be able to operate at a high level, providing art direction, to executing and delivering design deliverables

  • 01BA or BFA in Art/Design
  • 02Extraordinary design skills
  • 03A World-class portfolio of work
  • 04Outstanding presentation skills and proven ability to produce and pitch world-class strategic presentations to all levels of an organization
  • 058+ years experience in art direction and design in a creative agency or client-side group; B2B / tech experience is a plus
  • 063+ years experience leading and managing a team in a creative agency or internal creative group; global experience is a plus
  • 075+ years experience in marketing work with a rich portfolio including digital, print, interactive, website/mobile design and video
  • 08Hands-on expertise in developing creative solutions and campaigns across all mediums: advertising, film, websites, mobile and graphic design, Corporate ID, interactive, social campaigns, content marketing and events
  • 09Expert knowledge of creative process and digital creative software tools
  • 10Experience implementing AI tools with the creative process and prompting for creative output

  • 02Annual base salary range for candidates in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington is between: $180,000 — $198,000 USD
  • 03Offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits
