Data Center Systems Engineer, R&D

Обязанности
- 01Lead the development of next-generation data center reference architectures integrating electrical, mechanical, thermal, and compute domains
- 02Continuously scan the industry for emerging technologies and lead structured evaluations of candidate technologies
- 03Define and maintain systems-level architecture governing infrastructure layer interfaces and co‑optimization
- 04Guide emerging technologies through evaluation, bench‑scale testing, pilot deployment, production validation, and hyperscale rollout
- 05Provide principal technical leadership within R&D on infrastructure architecture and drive feasibility assessments and design reviews
- 06Author high‑level system specifications, interface control documents, and design standards
- 07Partner with engineering teams across the company as the primary technical interface for R&D outputs
- 08Build and maintain technical relationships with industry providers, startups, OEMs, academic groups, and national laboratories
- 09Advise R&D and company leadership on technology choices supporting long‑term growth strategy
Требования
- 0115+ years of progressive engineering experience in data center design, large‑scale infrastructure, hyperscale computing environments, or industrial power systems
- 02Proven ability to architect and optimize across electrical power, mechanical/thermal, compute infrastructure, and facility design domains
- 03Strong systems‑thinking mindset with experience leading multi‑disciplinary integration projects
- 04Demonstrated track record of evaluating and advancing emerging technologies from prototype to production
- 05Experience authoring technical specifications, interface control documents, and design standards
- 06Ability to build and manage external technical partnerships with vendors, startups, and research institutions
- 07Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and strategic advisory
