Ocean Operations Associate

- 01Execute booking and documentation processes with clients/carriers
- 02Timely shipment troubleshooting and exception escalation/handling
- 03Work intimately with Flexport AM, Planning team to ensure an effective end-to-end export process
- 04Coach junior specialists on the daily job
- 05Plan and execute special freight operations (i.e. DG, reefer, etc)
- 06Assist Sr. Associate on new business/process implementation, new projects and new tasks
- 07Support internal and external clients to make the best decision with your expertise
- 08Live and act with integrity guided by the company values including sustaining a high bar for operational quality and service
- 09Inform the business process and software capability needs to help scale our growing team while improving quality, service, efficiency and regulatory compliance
- 10Contribute to the development and implementation of the procedure and system to differentiate Flexport operations from the industry
Требования
- 01Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related fields
- 02Minimum 2 years of experience in ocean operation or related roles in freight forwarding/logistics
- 03Good communication of written and spoken English
- 04Chinese is a plus
- 05Detail-oriented, structured, and eager to learn global supply chain operations
- 06Customer-focused mindset: respond promptly and professionally to customer needs, answering calls and dealing with customer queries, providing first-class customer service at all times
