01Negotiate and drive execution of commercial contracts with European and other customers, vendors, and business partners
02Develop and scale commercial contracting workflows in Europe, including drafting form agreements and improving contracting tools and processes
03Support growth of Samsara’s business in Europe across legal areas such as privacy, employment, regulatory, corporate, product, and compliance
04Collaborate with Legal team and cross‑functional partners to drive strategic business and legal initiatives in Europe
05Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders including Sales, Sales Operations, Partnerships, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, People, Operations, and Customer Support
06Help build a best‑in‑class legal function for Samsara in Europe
07Provide legal advice and answer questions on a wide range of issues, projects, and initiatives across the company
08Exercise initiative and creativity to solve challenges and accomplish business goals
09Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) globally

018+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in‑house position in the United Kingdom
02Experience implementing and supporting complex scalable workflows
03Outstanding interpersonal skills enabling clear written and verbal communication
04Deep experience in European commercial contracting
05Sound judgment and discretion
06Ability to build strong relationships with senior cross‑functional stakeholders
07Ability to take ownership of ambiguous goals and drive high‑impact, business‑oriented outcomes
08Comfort working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and driving projects of varying complexity with multiple teams
09Willingness to assist colleagues on any project, large or small, regardless of scope
10Interest in being a true partner to business stakeholders and immersing in the company’s business and industry
