Обязанности
- 01Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to produce an industry-leading search engine offering
- 02Contribute to Elasticsearch full time, building new search features and fixing bugs
- 03Invent or implement new algorithms or data structures
- 04Work close to the operating system and hardware
- 05Work with a globally distributed team on the vector search capabilities of Elasticsearch
- 06Be an expert on Elasticsearch search relevance and drive improvements
- 07Work with community members on issues and pull requests
- 08Write idiomatic modern Java
Требования
- 01Professional experience with search or vector databases
- 02Experience with HNSW, IVF, or other relevant algorithms and libraries on search platforms at scale
- 03Solid skills in core Java and its standard library
- 04Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and guide projects from beginning to end
- 05Comfort with collaborative development and giving/receiving feedback
- 06Experience with several data storage technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
- 07Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug systems, and optimize code
- 08Ability to collaborate across functions and teams and transition between projects
- 09Ability to work autonomously and drive decisions in a distributed team
