Обязанности
- 01Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to produce an industry-leading search engine offering
- 02Contribute to Elasticsearch full time, building new search features and fixing bugs
- 03Invent new algorithms or data structures or find and implement existing ones
- 04Work with operating system and hardware when needed
- 05Work with globally distributed team on vector search capabilities
- 06Identify and drive improvements in Elasticsearch search relevance
- 07Work with community members on issues and pull requests
- 08Write idiomatic modern Java code
Требования
- 01Professional experience with search or vector databases
- 02Experience with HNSW, IVF or other relevant algorithms and libraries at scale
- 03Solid skills in core Java and standard library data structures
- 04Experience with concurrency constructs and lambdas
- 05Ability to work with high level of autonomy on projects from beginning to end
- 06Comfortable with collaborative development and code reviews
- 07Experience with multiple data storage technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra
- 08Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug systems, and optimize code
- 09Ability to collaborate across functions and teams
- 10Ability to work autonomously in distributed team with asynchronous communication
