- 01Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to produce an industry-leading search engine offering
- 02Contribute to Elasticsearch full time, building new search features and fixing bugs
- 03Invent new algorithms or data structures
- 04Work with operating system and hardware
- 05Work with globally distributed team on vector search capabilities
- 06Identify and drive improvements in search relevance
- 07Work with community members on issues and pull requests
- 08Write idiomatic modern Java
Требования
- 01Professional experience with search or vector databases
- 02Experience with HNSW, IVF or other relevant algorithms and libraries
- 03Solid skills in core Java and standard library data structures
- 04Ability to work with high level of autonomy
- 05Comfortable developing collaboratively
- 06Experience with data storage technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
- 07Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development and debug complex systems
- 08Ability to collaborate across functions and teams
- 09Work autonomously in distributed teams
