Обязанности
- 01Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to produce an industry-leading vector database offering
- 02Contribute to Elasticsearch full time, building new search features and fixing bugs
- 03Work with a globally distributed team of experienced engineers focused on the vector search capabilities of Elasticsearch
- 04Be an expert on how Elasticsearch implements vector similarity
- 05Work with community members from all over the world on issues and pull requests
- 06Write idiomatic modern Java
Требования
- 01Professional experience with vector similarity and vector databases
- 02Strong skills in core Java and conversant in its standard library
- 03Work with a high level of autonomy, able to take on projects from beginning to end
- 04Comfortable developing collaboratively and giving/receiving feedback
- 05Used several data storage technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
- 06Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 07Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug systems, and optimize code
- 08Ability to collaborate across functions and teams and transition between projects
- 09Work autonomously and drive decisions in a distributed team
