- 01Design and implement scalable and robust application networking features to enhance performance
- 02Integrate security controls into networking solutions, ensuring safe interactions
- 03Refactor existing code to improve functionality and maintainability while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity for you and your team
- 04Analyze performance metrics to pinpoint bottlenecks in application networking
- 05Conduct load testing to assess scalability of networking features and optimize code to enhance response times and resource efficiency
- 06Implement performance monitoring tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet their application networking needs
- 07Identify and tackle application networking issues to enhance performance
- 08Conduct root cause analysis for network-related incidents and document the troubleshooting processes for future reference
- 09Develop tools aimed at tracing and fixing errors associated with application networking
- 10Collaborate with Engineering teams across Elastic to discuss and fulfill their Application Networking requirements
Требования
- 01Hands-on experience developing software in Golang with an emphasis on networking components that can scale
- 02Experience working with Kubernetes (Cilium, external-dns, Envoy Gateway & Crossplane) are also great
- 03Knowledge with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their networking ecosystem
- 04Proficient in using AI tools to enhance code functionality and maintainability
- 05Facilitated knowledge-sharing initiatives that promoted best practices in application networking across teams
- 06Care about the quality of work shipped — testing, observability, and operability
- 07Curiosity about distributed systems and how services communicate at scale
- 08A collaborative approach: welcoming feedback, sharing context, learning from teammates
