01Develop and maintain a continuous, data-grounded understanding of the AI market, identifying trends, shifts, and developments that are relevant to Anthropic's strategy
02Act as a key analytical resource across the Finance team and broader organization, providing market context that supports strategic decision-making
03Conduct research using a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods to surface insights for product and business stakeholders
04Create clear, well-structured materials that make complex market information accessible and useful to a range of internal audiences

01Combine financial or analytical rigor with a deep interest in AI products, technology, and the broader industry ecosystem
02Are skilled at synthesizing information from disparate sources and communicating it clearly to a range of audiences
03Have a strong bias toward action and are comfortable operating with incomplete information in a fast-moving environment
04Enjoy the research process: tracking down information, triangulating sources, and building a coherent picture from fragmented data points
05Have strong quantitative skills and are comfortable building and maintaining models and dashboards
06Proficiency in SQL or other data tools used for market analysis
07Are passionate about Anthropic's mission to build safe, transformative AI systems
08Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
09Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
10Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position

01Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
