01Drive the next generation of FinTech innovation by leading AI-driven, data-centric initiatives that accelerate business growth, improve decision-making, and advance Chime's data platform.
02Partner closely with Analytics, Product, Data Science, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, trusted, and secure data products while serving as a strategic thought partner to the business.
03Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
04Champion innovation and continuous improvement by establishing a clear sense of urgency and direction, setting high expectations for both the team and individual contributors, and driving operational excellence.
05Collaborate across teams to prioritize work, resolve issues, and remove delivery obstacles, ensuring the team remains focused on delivering the highest business impact while maintaining engineering quality and velocity.

017+ years of experience leading Data Engineering teams
02Proven experience building scalable, AI-ready data platforms, semantic models, and trusted data products
03Strong partnership with Product, Analytics, Data Science, and Marketing to deliver business outcomes
04Experience driving engineering excellence, including data quality, governance, CI/CD, and operational reliability
05Experience with Growth and Marketing data platforms, including attribution, funnels, and experimentation
06Experience supporting teams to deliver solutions on tech stack such as Spark, Snowflake, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Key-Value store, dbt

01Base salary range: $230,000 – $319,000
