Обязанности
- 01Guide customers in designing, operating, and optimizing their MongoDB solutions
- 02Solve complex customer issues related to architecture, performance, recovery, and security
- 03Act as an expert resource on best practices for running MongoDB at scale
- 04Advocate for customers' needs with product management and development teams
- 05Contribute to internal projects, including software development of support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics
- 06Share technical knowledge with the team through training, workshops, and mentoring
- 07Document solutions in the knowledge platform to increase efficiency
- 08Contribute to internal tools and automation for AI-assisted diagnostics, performance analysis, and knowledge discovery
- 09Explore and teach new product capabilities across the MongoDB ecosystem
Требования
- 015+ years of proven experience
- 02Systems engineering experience, including Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, configuration, security, networking, clusters, and troubleshooting
- 03Understand core Kubernetes concepts, including containers, namespaces, custom resources and multi-cluster deployments
- 04Good understanding of Networking concepts and protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, etc.)
- 05Storage engineering experience, including NAS, SAN, SSD, multi-pathing, and caching
- 06Experience building and maintaining complex mission-critical production database systems
- 07Broad awareness of customer workloads and use cases, including performance, availability, and scalability
- 08Experience analyzing issues holistically, from the application tier through the database, down to the storage
- 09Be able to read code, and basic coding/scripting ability in one or more languages: Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, Javascript, node.js, Go, etc.
- 10Desire and ability to rapidly learn a wide variety of new technical skills
- 11Genuine desire to help people
- 12Ability to think on your feet and remain calm under pressure while solving problems in real-time
- 13Willingness and ability to get help from team members when required
- 14Good judgment to know when to seek help
