Responsibilities

  • 01Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team
  • 02Lead engineers on your team through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems
  • 03Support peers and stakeholders in the product development lifecycle
  • 04Collaborate with product management, design & analytics
  • 05Proactively identify project, process, technology or business issues and lead in solving them
  • 06Support the operations and availability of your team’s artifacts
  • 07Create and monitor metrics, escalate when needed, and support on-call efforts
  • 08Foster a culture of quality and ownership on your team
  • 09Set or improve code review and design standards
  • 10Help develop talent on your team by providing feedback and guidance
  • 11Coordinate and implement broader product features from Figma or product requirements
  • 12Migrate and modernize web code implementation, design systems, and architecture
  • 13Build and/or reuse codemods, AI agent skills, and tools

Requirements

  • 014+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue
  • 02Proficient in working with Javascript/Typescript
  • 03Experience working across multiple teams and driving horizontal initiatives with demonstrated leadership
  • 04Experience delivering major features, system components or deprecating existing functionality
  • 05Ability to define a technical and execution plan
  • 06Write high quality code that is easily understood and used by others
  • 07Experience defining a technical plan for the delivery of a significant feature or system component
  • 08Proficient at making significant changes in a large code base
  • 09Have developed a suite of tools and practices to make changes safely
  • 10Take ownership of your growth, proactively seeking feedback
  • 11Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 12Reside in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan
